Name correction
Submitted by Alf Saville on Friday, June 16, 2017 - 15:32.The photograph named above as 1987 view of Hillary House is incorrect. It is in fact Mallory House.
In the photograph 1988 Uamvar Street the tower blocks from left to right are :- Part showing of Brushwood House, second left David House & third is Irvin House. In the far distance is Mallory House.
Hillary House in the 1988 in Teviot Street / Spey Street is correct.
My wife & I lived in Brushwood House from its completion date in 1955 until we married & moved out in 1968.
I hope this info will be of some use to keep your data base up to date.
